A Quick Brief Of My Days

Ok, first, my sim card is giving problems, *zzZzzZzz* very vexed about it. It actually will cause my phone to auto switch on and off and i have tried that sim card on 3 phones. All 3 phones have the same result, so i call singtel hotline and ask them what they can do for me for my situation. They recommend me to go down singtel service centre to check my sim card. *zzZzzZzz* The moment i got to the service centre, there are a quite a number of people queuing up for the information counter so I got a bit fed up on waiting. When its during my turn i told the lady my problem and she told me that i need my aunt NRIC, so that they can do the necessary verification and procedures to have my sim card replace. (my sim card is under my aunt name) Awwww~~~~ I purposely rush back home from work then go down to have it done, in the end i end up nothing done.. *zzzzZZzzz*

Yes right now i am working, i now working at B.U.M Equipment warehouse. For your information B.U.M Equipment and Blush are under EUT Marketing, maybe there are some other brands also, not sure. I am post to the warehouse temporary, if warehouse doesn't need me anymore, i think i am going to B.U.M Equipment shop to be sales assisstant, i suppose. Right now, i not sure when warehouse don't need me. Awwwww~~~~~~ If i am going warehouse and work, i rather go Telechoice's warehouse and work because the environment there is nicer, more fun and over there got free food and drink as well. Haha.. My work place in the B.U.M Equipment warehouse is small and stuffy because there no windows in my working room. I got no chairs to sit as well, there are only carpet for you to sit on. When the person who in charge of me went to send goods, the room only left me and a radio, so boring. In that room i am surrounded by carton of boxes that fill with clothings, like a bird in the cage.

Tomorrow going to Seiyu Bugis B.U.M Equipment to help out because B.U.M is having sales, they need people to help out. Most probably i will help out for two days. If i help out until Sunday then Monday i need to go back warehouse, and i will become a 名副其实 "sai gang warrior" (the name that matches the reality cheap labour), because i work non-stop. Anyway got more money $_$ Haha.. But i don't know whether i will break down. Robots also need to cool down. Haha~~~

If possible tomorrow night i ill update how is my first day at Seiyu Bugis. Tata~~~

Wu~~~ Hu~~~~ I got a JOB!!!

Oh yes!! Finally i got a job. Haha.. I got into Bum Equipment. Haha.. Actually it didn't cross my mind that i will get into Bum Equipment, tomorrow i will be going to Bum Equipment's warehouse to start work first. Haiz. Why i can't escape from warehouse. I going to work at the warehouse for 1 week more or less then i go for the training. I believe that my salary at the warehouse also pay by every hour. Oh no, thats going to minus my this month pay, SAD. I want to get Zen Vision W while i get my first pay but now i am going to think about it. That bloody gadget cost me $500 bucks. Its going to cause me having heart pain, i need to think carefully.

Anyway at here, i good luck to myself for first day of job tomorrow. Haha.. tata~~~

Interview Result & Arsenal Match

This morning went to Kallang Bahru Complex to have my interview, its actually beside Boon Keng or i should say its very near. Everything went fine, i suppose. Haha.. The lady, Diana who interviewed me is very friendly and nice, she didn't ask any weird or difficult questions. But i need to fight with another 7 applicants to get my job, omg, plus i not sure when i am going to National Service and i told her that i will be going in either on June or September. I bet they will take this into consideration, not sure whether i will get the job. Tomorrow I need to wait for another call and this call is the final call, if she calls me i will get the job, if not i can say bye bye to Bum Equipment.

What surprise me is Bum Equipment actually have a 1% commission but its not per sales or your overall month sales. For example, If you hits the target set by the company at the end of the month, you actually get 1% of it. I still not sure how much is the target, better than nothing. $_$ Haha..

If i got the job, i need to go for 7 days of training including 1 day off. During this time, i am pay by hour, which is $5.50 per hour. If after training, they think i am suitable for the environment my pay will back to monthly basic pay. Erm.. which i don't know is how much, because its a TABOO to ask how much salary you will be getting during interview.

Today 7.40pm there is a soccer match between Arsenal and Liverpool. My father actually wanted to finish watching the soccer match, but he went to switch to other channels. Haha.. During the 3:51 minutes, Liverpool gets the first GOAL of the game. Its by a player call Crouch, he slide and kicks the ball in. After 30 minutes plus, Crouch get to score another goal, this time he heads it in. This Crouch fellow really very tall, imagine the foreigners already very tall and he still taller than them by half the head. He realy gets the advantage of heading because other player can't reach. Haha.. After the 2nd goal from Liverpool, my father change the channel, he is talking to himself that don't need to watch anymore, Arsenal sure lose. I don't use to watch soccer match, its just that today my father switch the channel i happen to watch it.

Some how i feel that Liverpool have a better coordination. Their passing is awesome and nice. I also notice that Henry is missing, has he left the team? There are also quite a number of players in Arsenal i didn't see before.

I Got An Interview!!

Yesterday i just went to Bishan Bum Equipment to fill in the employment form. Tata~~ today morning got a call from them, and they ask me to go down to have a interview tomorrow. Hmm.. Wonder they will accept me, hopefully they will, so that i can earn some $$$$ before going in army to get torture. HAHA.. Hope tomorrow interview will go on smoothly, but some how i will am not very happy as well if i get the job. haiz. Anyway let see how it goes tomorrow.

After i got my first pay i hope i can buy stuffs to pamper myself. haha.. i want lots and lots of clothing and many shoes (i don't ask for tons, maybe 10 - 15 pairs or shoes are enough). Haha.. Hopefully next time can have a walk in wardrobe. wo hu~~~

Need to work hard and earn a lot a lot of money $.$

Should I "SAF"

Haiz.. This is killing me, should i just "SAF". What i mean here is sign and forget and not Singapore Armed Forces. I am thinking of signing up as WSO(ADA) (Weapon System Officer, Air Defence Artillery) in the air force but there are a few area that i need to think carefully.

I am a polytechinc graduate, I would like to go and sign on as air force and went for my further study, then the government will pay my school fees and give me monthly allowances. Wah.. Everything seem so good and thats not all, i will get S$10,000 as payback. Although i will get tied up and serve the nation for 5 years. But 2 years will be counted in the national service, so i will only serve 3 years. If i find the job environment good then i will continue sign on, of course at the same time the air force must want me as well. If i don't like the job, i can say just leave the air force after 3 years and work at aerospace company.

But good dream dosen't last long. Haiz. If i want to apply air force scholarship, i need to confirm that i have a place in the university first but this year university admission is closed. This year i am getting into army and i only can decide on whether to sign on as air force during my BMT (Basic Millitary Training), which is before the next year university admission.

This is the point where is killing me :
If i sign up now, i can't confirm that i will get a place in the university next year. As my GPA only 3.3 and i don't have diploma of merit, its hard to get a place in university. If i can't get a place, i will sign up for air force for nothing. This is not i want.

There is another way. I can go and sign on as plan but i don't apply for any scholarship. I go and study part time st SIM university after 2 years (Not yet confirm with the RSAF whether i can study part time after 2 year). But financially, i don't know whether i can afford the fees, meal, transport and etc.

Should i go for it and try? Just Do It? Sign and Forget? Nothing is Impossible?

Went to meet Ser.

Yesterday is Ser first day of work, so i went to fetch her and have dinner together later. While waiting for her, i went to popular and "jalan jalan" (have a walk). Under the professional section, i saw a very interesting book. Its call iPOD & iTUNES for dummies. If anyone wants to know more advance option and interface of iTUNES you all can get this book. For Mac user, don't worry this book also teaches you how to use on Mac OS. There are also other interesting book that teaches you how to blog and how to use PSP and what are those functions that available inside.

Finally have dinner at Geylang, "和包记 he bao ji". A place where sells "点心 dian xing" and some hawker dishes like "wanton noodles", "dumpling noodles", "chicken feet noodles" and etc. (dian xing in english its call dim sum)

The cost for a plate of noodles is just $3 which is the same as others. But the taste of the noodles is way way better than those you can find in hawkers, markets or coffee shops. The content of the dumplings are very enrich, there are chive, shrimp, minced pork and maybe some other ingredients which i don't know. Its a pity that some of those dim sum are serve while its cold. There is another dish call the "paper wrap chicken", actually i directly translate from Chinese. In Chinese it is call, "纸包鸡 zhi bao ji". Although It has a funny name, i thought the food may taste nice but the food is very oily. They didn't filter off the oil at all (FYI it is deep fried chicken), i think this dish is meant to be eaten oily. We also ordered some other shrimp dim sum.

Anyway if you are looking for cheap and good food, this is a place not to miss. Its located at Geylang, but I'm not sure where, all i know is that the place is near Simville condominium. Try your luck if you want to go. =X After that both Ser and I carried a bloated stomach back home.

Visit An Art Gallery

Went to visit an art gallery this afternoon, go there to have a look at one of my old friends, Colene's art work. There are still many other people art works as well. The gallery is located beside NAFA ( Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts ). NAFA also having an art gallery, so if anyone wants to improve on their qualities or "art sense" =P, you can go there and have a look. Its free admission.

After upgrading our "art sense". Ser and I go for shopping. Before having a short shopping at Bugis, we had a late lunch at the bencoolen. We ordered a so call "Katong laska". Its not delicious at all, the gravey is too milky and those cockles only have 1 word to describe, YUCKS!!

After shopping i sent her home then head back home as well. Tomorrow she needs to wake up early to go to Plaza Singapura for her job briefing and signing of job contract.

Finally Ser got a job. Hope she can cope the stress and perform well in her job.
